What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry is a custom-fit chain that’s welded closed instead of clasped. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and designed to be worn as long as you’d like.

Does it hurt?

Not at all. The welding process is quick, gentle, and spark-safe.  The flash never touches your skin.

Can I remove it?

Yes. You can cut the jump ring with scissors if needed. If you plan to re-wear it, keep the chain so we can re-weld it.

Can I travel with permanent jewelry?

Absolutely. TSA doesn’t require removal of jewelry.

What if I need to remove it for medical reasons?

How long does the welding process take?

The welding process usually takes just a few seconds per piece, making it a quick and seamless experience.

Is permanent jewelry adjustable?

Permanent jewelry is custom-fit to your wrist or ankle size and is not adjustable once welded. We recommend accurate sizing during your appointment.

Can I wear permanent jewelry in water?

Yes, our pieces are designed to be water-resistant and can be worn while swimming or showering.

What metals do you use?

We use high-quality metals such as sterling silver, gold-filled, to ensure durability and beauty.

Can I layer permanent jewelry with other pieces?

Absolutely! Permanent jewelry is designed to complement your existing collection and can be layered effortlessly.

Is permanent jewelry safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, we use hypoallergenic metals to minimize the risk of irritation.

What if my permanent jewelry breaks?

Re-weld & Repair Policy 

We stand behind our work and we know life happens. Here’s how we handle repairs with care and clarity.

The 30‑Day Rule

If your KassRoot piece breaks within 30 days, we’ll re‑weld it for free. No questions asked. This covers any faulty workmanship or early wear.

Own Work vs. Others

  • KassRoot pieces: Re‑welds after 30 days are just $5–$10, depending on location.

  • Other artists’ work: We’re happy to help, but repairs are $20–$25 to account for unknown materials and weld quality.

Weld vs. Chain

  • Broken jump ring? We’ll re‑weld it for free within 30 days.

  • Broken chain? This is usually caused by snagging, stretching, or accidental damage — and requires a repair fee or chain replacement.

Lost Chains

We can’t replace lost chains for free. If your piece is missing entirely, a new chain must be purchased at full price.

Medical Exemption

If you had to cut your jewelry for medical reasons (MRI, surgery, etc.), we’ll re‑weld it for free. Just bring the chain and let us know.  We’re here to support you.
